Kaunas University of Technology (KTU) is the largest technical University in Lithuania. KTU is a leading educational and scientific research institution. It is known for its linkages with business, leadership in scientific research, flexible interdisciplinary study programmes. The mission of KTU is to provide research-based studies of international level, to create and transfer knowledge and innovative technologies for sustainable development and innovative growth, to provide an open creative environment that inspires leaders and talented individuals. One of the strategic actions of KTU is to establish joint programmes with international universities and to create favourable conditions for interational students exchanges, internships and teachers’ international mobility.
KTU is/was involved in the following European projects: COAT4LIFE, SMART-ER, YOUCOUNT, Let’s not waste food, COSY (in partnership with Pixel), MATHE (in partnership with Pixel), V4T (in partnership with Pixel) and LeTS (in partnership with Pixel).

Testimonials on the Internship

From January to April 2020, I carried out my internship at eMundus and Kaunas University of Technology (KTU), in Kaunas, Lithuania. It was a wonderful experience. Kaunas is a small but very peculiar city. The tutor was Vida, a very nice and caring person, always ready to help. During the internship, I carried out many different tasks, but they have always been consistent with the content imparted during the lessons held at Pixel. The internship I carried out in Lithuania has been very useful, as I had the opportunity to obtain valuable experience, as well as meet new and interesting people. The experience went so well that I decided to accept to continue my collaboration with Vida on remote and I do not exclude the possibility to go back to Lithuania, in the next future.
