Testimonial on the Master program
The International Master in European Project Planning and Management provided me with both the adequate theoretical and practical basis to fully accomplish the tasks assigned to me during the internship period. The training contents were appropriate and well developed by European experts with long and extensive experience in the field. The multicultural class composition definitely represents an added value of the Master. The chance to get in contact and to collaborate with such a wide outreach of participants’ cultures is a great opportunity to become familiar and confident with the international work environment. The internship, held at Innolabs in Pisa, has been a deeply appreciable professional and human experience. Since the first day I have been included in the team and I have been involved and actively committed in the on-going projects activities. I have also been directly involved in the writing activities dedicated to the April 2014 tranche of H2020 deadlines. Testimonial on the Internship
I attended my internship at INNOLABS Srl a company based in Livorno, which has been raised from a spin-off of the Political Science Department of the University of Pisa. INNOLABS is mainly active in the Tourism, Environment and International Cooperation fields and it is specialized in the R&I and R&D sectors. The organization has been involved in several FP7 projects as well as in the Italia Francia Marittimo Programme, while now is focusing its efforts on the first and third pillars of H2020.
INNOLABS work environment is at the same time highly professional as well as informal and friendly. In fact as long as it is a small company, the direct face-to-face daily dialogue with the tutor and the other members of the team is a guarantee of directed and systematic learning experience. INNOLABS ensures a valuable multicultural experience due to their regular collaboration with its international partners.
Since the beginning of the internship experience, I have been fully integrated in the work team and I was treated as a valuable group member. Nicola, my tutor, and all the colleagues have been always extremely willing to help, accessible and cheerful. Under the attentive and warmth guidance of Nicola, I have been directly involved in the writing activities dedicated to the April 2014 tranche of H2020 deadlines. Moreover, I’ve carried out tasks such as background researchers, financial studies, production of questionnaires, communication and coordination activities among projects’ partners.
The experience at INNOLABS has been tremendously educational both from the professional and human standpoints. I have been constantly stimulated, supported and encouraged to overcome my limits and fears and I am grateful for this.
