Second Transnational Meeting

Pixel coordinated the second transnational meeting of the WBL 2.0 (Work Based Learning 2.0) European project held on 17 – 18 July 2017 in Dundee (UK). The WBL 2.0 European project is funded by the European Commission in the framework of the Erasmus+ Programme, KA2 - Strategic Partnership in the field of VET Education. The WBL 2.0 European project has been written and coordinated by Pixel in cooperation with the project applicant and scientific coordinator Esmovia, based in Valencia (Spain). The WBL 2.0 European project aims to enhance the cooperation between VET providers and companies in order to promote Work Based Learning methods and tools to prevent demotivation of the trainees due to the lack of practical application of what they learn in real business Scenarios. During the second meeting, the European project partners presented the video interviews and testimonials of company managers and communication experts. Those tools aim at providing VET students, who want to become web designers and/or social media managers, with a better understanding of companies’ expectations according to a Work Based Learning approach.
