In Service training courses

Pixel organises two different in-service training courses for school teachers and school staff on the use of new media for educational purposes:

1) Edutainment: Videogames and Media for Education
2) Media Education – Use of ICT and New Media for teaching and learning

The courses are held in English at Pixel site, in Florence (Italy).

1) Edutainment: Videogames and Media for Education
The main objective of the course is to train teachers and school staff on the application of innovative strategies and solutions to education.
It is possible to register for the next course edition:
22 - 27 October 2012
The course is included in the European Lifelong Learning Programme Grundtvig / Comenius Database therefore those who wish to participate can obtain a training grant to cover both the course fee and accommodation and subsistence costs.
The course code on the database is IT-2012-777-001.

2) Media Education – Use of ICT and New Media for teaching and learning
The Training Course aims to train teachers on the use of New Media for the development of literacy skills (reading and writing) and for the building up of the capacity of the students and the learners to analyse and interpret information in order to become aware New Media user.

It is possible to register for the next course edition:
3 - 8 September 2012
The course is included in the European Lifelong Learning Programme Grundtvig / Comenius Database therefore those who wish to participate in can obtain a training grant to cover both the course fee and accommodation and subsistence costs.
