The Third Transnational Meeting

Pixel participated in the third meeting of the European project entitled ALCMAEON – Design a digital collection to include medical museum in the teaching of medical humanities and promote object-based learning education model, which took place online using the Big Blue Button web platform on 27 – 28 April 2020. The European project entitled ALCMAEON was funded by the European Commission in the framework of the Erasmus+ Programme, KA2 - Strategic Partnerships for Higher Education. The ALCMAEON European project has been written and coordinated by Pixel in cooperation with the project applicant and scientific coordinator Universidad Complutense de Madrid based in Madrid (Spain). The aim of the ALCMAEON project is to overcome the gap between clinical practice and historical perspective of medical humanities, through the representation of the historical scenarios and the integration of historical evidences in specific educational contents. During the third meeting, Emanuele Valenti and Lorenzo Martellini presented the project activities carried out so far by the partners. The meeting was also an opportunity for the partners to discuss about future activities and the possibility of a project extension in order to deal with the COVID19 situation around Europe. At the end of the meeting all the partners had a clear view of the future project's implementation and deliverables that will be carried out in the next months.
