European Project on Virtual Reality at School

The third Transnational Meeting

Pixel hosted the third meeting of the European project entitled VR@School – Future schools using the power of virtual and augmented reality, which was held on 13 – 14 February 2020 in Florence at Pixel premises. The European project entitled VR@School was funded by the European Commission in the framework of the Erasmus+ Programme, KA2 - Strategic Partnership in the field of School Education. The European project was written and coordinated by Liceul Teoretic de Informatica "Grigore Moisil" based in Iasi and involves Pixel in the transnational partnership. The VR@School project aims at supporting Virtual Reality as a teaching methodology which helps students feel immersed in an experience, gripping their imagination and stimulating thought in ways not possible with traditional books, pictures or videos, and facilitates a far higher level of knowledge retention. During the third meeting, the European project partners finalized the second output, the Teachers’ Guidelines on Virtual Reality. In addition, the European project partners discussed the structure of the VR lessons to be produced in the forthcoming months.
