Transnational Meeting
Pixel participated in the second meeting of the IHR (I Have Rights) European project which was held on 30-31 March 2017 in Coimbra (Portugal). The European project entitled IHR (I Have Rights) was funded by the European Commission in the framework of the Erasmus+ Programme, KA2 - Strategic Partnership in the field of School Education. The European project was written and coordinated by Pixel in cooperation with the project applicant RenaSup (France) and the scientific coordinator University of Siena (Italy). This European project has the objective to provide secondary school teachers with the skills to deal with multicultural classrooms through the acquisition of intercultural competences based on the understanding of human rights and non-discrimination values. During the second meeting, the European project partners presented the results of the carried out survey addressed to teachers and students aiming at describing the current situation about intercultural issues, integration, non-discrimination values and human rights. In addition, the European project partners discussed the draft version of the guidelines addressed to teachers aiming to provide them with the competences to promote an inclusive education.
