Call for Proposals

The Call for Proposal JUST/2013/DAP/AG was published in the framework of the European Programme DAPHNE III. The DAPHNE III  European Programme aims to prevent and combat violence against children, young people and women and to protect victims and groups at risk.

 

The general objectives of the DAPHNE III  European Programme are:

 

  • to prevent and combat violence against children, young people and women
  • to protect victims and groups at risk.

 

The projects under this DAPHNE III  European Programme’s call for proposals shall focus on the annual priorities described below:

  • Support for victims of violence
  • Violence linked to harmful practices
  • Children as victims and/or witnesses of violence in close or intimate relationships
  • Children as victims of bullying at school
  • Perpetrator interventions and victim protection measures
  • Prevention of violence against children, young people and women through projects targeting attitudinal and behavioural changes in the context of sexualisation
  • Awareness raising on violence against women

 

The target groups for the results of this DAPHNE III  European Programme’s call for proposal are families, men, teachers and educational staff, social workers, police and border guards, local, national and military authorities, medical and paramedical staff, judicial staff, NGOs, trade unions and religious communities. The call shall benefit children, young people and women who are, or risk becoming, victims of violence.

 

Eligible participants within this DAPHNE III  European Programme's call for proposal must be legally constituted public or private non-profit organisations and institutions (non-governmental organisations, regional and local authorities at relevant level, university departments and research centers) based in one of the 28 Member States of the European Union and/or the EFTA States that are parties to the EEA Agreement (Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway- hereafter referred to as the "EEA Member States")

 

The eligible actions that can be funded within this DAPHNE III Programme’s call for proposal are action grants.

 

The total budget available for this DAPHNE III  European Programme’s call for proposal amounts to EUR 11 404 000. EU funding cannot constitute more than of 80% of overall eligible project cost.

 

The deadline for submitting proposals in the framework of the current DAPHNE III Programme’s Call for Proposals is 30 October 2013.
