European Project supporting Environmental Sustainability at School

The Fourth Transnational Meeting

Pixel organized and coordinated the fourth meeting of the European project entitled Go Green! Transdisciplinary Approaches to Teaching Environmental Sustainability at School which was held on 21 – 22 March 2024 at University of the Basque Country based in Bilbao (Spain). The European project entitled GoGreen! was funded by the European Commission in the framework of the Erasmus+ Programme, Cooperation partnerships in school education. The GoGreen! project was written and coordinated by the project applicant IIS Galileo Galilei (Italy) in cooperation with Pixel, also supporting the coordination of the planning process. The GoGreen! project aims at redefining disciplinary programs and educational methods through cooperation between the different institutions of education and providing theoretical-methodological schemes which are innovative and closer to the analyzed realities as well as virtuous models of action which will enhance environmental issues. During the fourth meeting, the European project partners validated the lesson plans for secondary school teachers related to the integration of environmental sustainability at school and defined the structure of the syllabus for the first and second year of the upper secondary school.
