European Project promoting Physical Activity to Patients with Chronic Respiratory Conditions
Third Transnational Meeting
Pixel organized and coordinated the third meeting of the European project entitled BREATH – A European Collaborative and Innovative Partnership to Promote Physical Activity for Patients with Chronic Respiratory Conditions which took place on 10 – 11 October at Pixel site in Florence (Italy). The European project entitled BREATH was funded by the European Commission in the framework of the Erasmus+ Programme, Cooperation partnerships in higher education. The BREATH project was written and coordinated by the project applicant and scientific coordinator University of Opole (Poland) in cooperation with Pixel, also supporting the coordination of the planning process. The BREATH project aims at promoting physical activity and long-term rehabilitation to patients with Chronic Respiratory Conditions by upskilling university physiotherapy, physical activity, sports, nursing students (who need to acquire the professional competencies required by today’s patients with chronic respiratory conditions) and physiotherapy, physical activity, sports, nursing professionals. During the meeting, the European project partners defined the steps to complete the Publication on the Local Comparison and the calendar of activities for the creation of the database of good practices.
