European Project supporting CLIL in Primary Education

The First Transnational Meeting

Pixel organized and coordinated the kickoff meeting of the European project entitled CAMPS – CLIL for Arts and Music teaching in Primary Schools which took place on 11 January 2023 at Pixel premises in Florence (Italy). The European project entitled CAMPS was funded by the European Commission in the framework of the Erasmus+ Programme, Cooperation Partnerships in School Education. The CAMPS project was written and coordinated by Pixel in cooperation with the project applicant, Ayuntament de Guadassuar based in Guadassuar (Spain). The aim of the CAMPS European project is to promote an effective application of the CLIL approach in elementary schools (focusing on pupils aged 6 – 8 and on specific curricular subjects related to Arts and Music) as well as to motivate primary schools to insert CLIL in primary education for an early start of language learning. During the first meeting, the European project partners introduced themselves as well as their project’s related experiences and expertise. The main activities to be carried out were presented and discussed, as well as the templates to be used.
