European Project on the Prevention of Alcohol Abuse among Pre-Adolescents

The First Transnational Meeting

Pixel organized and coordinated the kickoff meeting of the European project entitled CUT! Preventing alcohol abuse among pre-adolescents which took place online – using the Zoom web platform – on 4 and 5 November 2020. The European project entitled CUT! was funded by the European Commission in the framework of the Erasmus+ Programme, KA2 - Strategic Partnerships for School Education. The CUT! project was written and coordinated by Pixel in cooperation with the project applicant, Zespol Szkolno-Przedszkolny w Halinowie based in Halinów (Poland), and the scientific coordinator, AIDD – Associazione Italiana contro la Diffusione del Disagio giovanile based in Milan (Italy). The aim of the CUT! European project is to prevent and limit the use and abuse of alcohol among pre-adolescents and adolescents by focusing on prevention and awareness. During the first meeting, the European project partners introduced themselves as well as their project’s related experiences and expertise. The main activities to be carried out were presented and discussed. The main intellectual outputs to be produced were examined, with a specific focus on IO1 – CUT! Video Series, and the templates for the production of the expected deliverables were analyzed and jointly discussed. More information about the CUT!
