The international Master in European Project Planning and Management has a total duration of 5 months (800 hours) organized as follows:
  • Two months of classroom/online course and project work. The classroom/online based training has a duration of 8 hour a day, Monday to Friday.
  • Three months of internship, in public or private organizations.

Online and Onsite Attendance Options

The Master is offered either as a classroom-based or online-based programme.
It is up to each student to decide whether to enrol for the online or onsite course.

The classroom-based programme is held in Florence (Italy).

The online programme is organised via a dedicated e-learning platform.
It is possible to attend the online programme both synchronously (i.e. at the same time as the classroom programme) as well as asynchronously (i.e. the student freely decides when to attend the pre-recorded lectures and individually carries out the practical activities.


The approach used, for both the classroom and online solutions, is based on a constant integration of theory with practical, hands-on experiences.

Practical simulations are carried out for each topic analysed. The practical simulation also make use of the services, databases, and documentation made available, on-line, by the European Commission and its Agencies.

Networking opportunities are provided for both onsite and online students in the framework of a highly interactive learning environment.

The internship, which lasts 3 months, takes place in a public or private organization. The intern works as an Assistant European project manager. During the internship the intern is assisted by an internal tutor as well as by the tutor of the Master.


The classroom-based part of the Master Programme is held at Pixel, in Florence (Italy).
The online programme is organised, at the same time as the classroom programme, via a dedicated distance learning platform.
Internships are held, online or onsite, at the headquarters of the partner organisations based in 20 different countries in the European Union.
