DURATION

The Master programme has a total duration of 5 months (800 hours) organised as follows:

  • Two months of classroom/online course and project work. The classroom/online-based training has a duration of 8 hours a day, every day, Monday to Friday.

  • Three months of internship, in public or private organisations based throughout Europe.

ONLINE AND ONSITE ATTENDANCE OPTIONS

The International Master in European Project Planning and Management is offered either as a classroom-based or online-based programme.
It is up to each student to decide whether to enrol for the online or onsite course.
The classroom-based programme is held in Florence (Italy).
The online programme is organised via a dedicated e-learning platform.
Internships can be organised either onsite or online.

METHODOLOGY

The approach used, for both the classroom and online solutions, is based on a constant integration of theory with practical, hands-on experiences. Practical simulations are carried out for each topic analysed.
Networking opportunities are provided for both onsite and online students.
The internship, which lasts 3 months, takes place in public or private organisations involved in international project management. The intern works as an Assistant European project manager.

The International Master in European Project Planning and Management provides participants with the skills to:

Analyse the current European funding opportunities and calls for proposal
Develop effective project ideas
Create transnational project partnerships
Fill in application forms for the presentation of European projects
Manage the European project's activities
Maintain relations with the partnership and with the European Commission / Agencies
Reach the project objectives and produce the expected outcomes
Monitor and evaluate the project
Promote the dissemination and sustainability of the project
Carry out an effective project financial management
Produce Project Activities and Financial Reports
Prepare for audits

CERTIFICATIONS

Two Certifications are issued for the students who participated in at least 80% of the programme:

  • A Participation Certificate issued by Pixel. This Certificate provides detailed information about the Programme carried out. It provides information about the specific skills and competencies acquired during the course. The Certificate also presents the assessment of results achieved during the classroom-based course; the assessment of the project work; as well as the evaluation of the internship.
  • A Europass Mobility Certificate issued by the National Agencies for the Erasmus+ Programme certifying the skills and competencies acquired during the internship abroad experience.

The classroom-based option of the International Master in European Project Planning and Management is held at Pixel, in the beautiful city of Florence (Italy). Pixel headquarters are near the historical city centre of Florence.
The online option is organised via a dedicated e-learning platform.
Internships are held, online or onsite, at the headquarters of the partner organisations based in 20 different countries in the European Union.
