European Project on the Promotion of Youth Employment

First Workshop

The first workshop of the YEES European project was organized at Pixel in Florence on Thursday 15 and Friday 16 December 2016. 13 teachers attended the workshop. The YEES project, funded by the European Commission in the framework of the Erasmus+ Programme, KA2 Strategic Partnership in the field of School Education, is promoted by a Spanish secondary school, IES Sant Vicent Ferrer, based in Valencia, while Pixel is the project partner in charge of transnational cooperation and technical support. The European project YEES has the aim to foster cooperation between the Vocational Education Systems and the labour market promoting the inclusion of youngsters in an effective way using social media and crowdsourcing based tools. During the workshop, the project and its portal were fully presented and described to the participants, with a specific focus on the MOOC course available at: http://yees.pixel-online.org/mooc/ . In addition, teachers were informed about the forthcoming activities to be carried out in the framework of the European project YEES: in particular the crowdsourcing activity entitled after “Adopt an enterprise” was fully described.  More information about the European project YEES is available at: http://yees.pixel-online.org/.
