European Project on the Prevention of Early School Leaving

Third Transnational Meeting

Pixel participated in the third meeting of the “NON-FOR-LESL” European project, which was held in Katerini  (Greece) on 3 – 4 December 2015. The NON-FOR-LESL project, funded by the European Commission in the framework of the Erasmus+ Programme, KA2 - Strategic Partnerships, is promoted by Leibniz Universität Hannover (Germany). The NON-FOR-LESL project aims at preventing early school leaving through the recognition of non-formal learning and the production of a tool for the validation of the skills acquired through informal educational paths. During the third meeting, partners finalized the organisation and the contents of the online tool aiming at presenting and validating skills, knowledge and competences acquired through non-formal and also informal learning related to the key competences and transversal skills, as described by the EU. The tool will be soon available online. In addition, partners discussed the “Information Pack” to be produced in order to help both students and teachers to use the tool. More information about the “NON-FOR-LESL” European project is available at: http://www.non4lesl.eu/.
