International Workshop on Quality in Language Learning and the ELL

The NELLIP European Project

The Transnational Workshop “Quality in Language Learning and the European Language Label” was held in Florence on 15 November 2013 during the International Conference ICT for Language Learning. The workshop is one of the events organized in the framework of the European project NELLIP, Network of European Language Label Initiatives and Projects, promoted and coordinated by Pixel. The Workshop was opened by Manola Peschieri, Policy Officer and Coordinator of the European Language Label at the European Commission, Directorate-General for Education and Culture. The workshop was organized in three thematic groups: Quality in language teaching and learning, moderated by Richard Rossner (EAQUALS); Innovation in teaching and learning, moderated by Anca Colibaba (EuroEd) and Maria Erotokritou (Greek National Agency); Networking among language learning experts, moderated by Alan Bruce (Universal Learning System) and Lorenza Venturi (Italian National Agency). The Workshop ended with the presentation of the results reached during the discussions held in the three thematic groups.
