International Training Course on Media Education

3rd Edition

An in-Service international teachers training course on Media Education was carried out at Pixel on 21-26 October. The course, entitled ICT and New Media for teaching and learning, provided teachers from six different European countries with the skills to use new media for the development of students' literacy skills  as well as students’ awareness in the use of new media. The teachers who attended the training course acquired the skills to design Media based educational contents, evaluate and assess media skills, teach reading skills through the exploitation of new media, enhance critical thinking skills of pupils through the exploitation of new media.
