European Project addressing Learning Disabilities in Maths

Second Transnational Meeting

Pixel organized and coordinated the second meeting of the European project entitled SMiLD - Focus on Students with Mathematics Learning Disabilities, which was held on 21 – 22 November at the University of Wroclaw in Poland. The European project entitled SMiLD was funded by the European Commission in the framework of the Erasmus+ Programme, KA2 - Strategic Partnerships for School Education. The SMiLD European project has been written and coordinated by Pixel in cooperation with the project applicant and scientific coordinator University of Genova based in Genova (Italy). The aim of the SMiLD project is to promote the acquisition of skills and key competences with a specific focus on addressing underachievement in Math. During the second meeting, the European project partners presented and validated the tools to be used in order to identify the students with learning disabilities in Math and to distinguish among the different disabilities. In addition, the European project partners started discussing the tools to be developed in tackling the learning disabilities identified.  More information about the SMiLD European project is available at: https://smild.pixel-online.org/
