European Project promoting Coding and STEAM at Primary Schools

Second Transnational Meeting

Pixel organized and coordinated the second meeting of the European project entitled EDUMAT+ - Augmented Educational Mat: an infographic puzzle MATS for learning STEAM by coding for primary schools which took place on 11 – 12 January 2024 at Pixel premises in Florence (Italy). The European project entitled Edumat+ was written and coordinated by the project applicant CISL Scuola e Formazione (Italy) and the scientific coordinator, Università La Sapienza, in cooperation with Pixel, also supporting the coordination of the planning process. The project was funded by the Erasmus+ Programme, KA2 – Cooperation Partnerships in School Education. The EDUMAT+ project has the aim to provide teachers of primary schools with educational methodological supports to teach coding and STEAM. During the second meeting, the European project partners focused on the first deliverable to be produced, the Digital Infographic Teaching Mats, a collection of digital education infographic maps, intended for primary school classes dedicated to the themes of environmental sustainability and social inclusion.
