European Project dealing with Obesity and Eating Disorders

Fourth Transnational Meeting

Pixel organized and coordinated the fourth transnational meeting of the European project entitled Connected 4 Health which took place on 11 September 2023 at University of Belgrade based in Belgrade (Serbia). The European project entitled Connected 4 Health was funded by the European Commission in the framework of the Erasmus+ Programme, KA2 - Cooperation Partnerships in Higher Education. The C4H project was written and coordinated by the project applicant and scientific coordinator University of Targu Mures, based in Targu Mures (Romania) in cooperation with Pixel, also supporting the coordination of the planning process. The Connected4Health project proposes a connected interdisciplinary action expects to achieve an in-depth understanding of obesity, EDs, their stigma and harm from grassroots levels (historical, social, personal perspective), deconstructing current narratives in the public discourses and creating a new narrative that will contribute to the reduction of body-shape stigma and bias. During the fourth meeting, the European project partners validated the Syllabus of Seminars aiming at developing a multidisciplinary approach to young people with obesity and eating disorders. Even more, the European project partners defined the schedule of the activities for the creation of the contents for the Training Package for students on the effective management of young patients with obesity and eating disorders.
