European Project on Complex System Thinking

Transnational Meeting

Pixel organized and coordinated a transnational meeting of the European project entitled Cosy Thinking – Enhancing higher education on COmplex SYstems Thinking for sustainable development, which was held on 3 – 4 April 2023 at Kaunas University of Technology based in Kaunas (Lithuania). The European project entitled Cosy Thinking was funded by the European Commission in the framework of the Erasmus+ Programme, KA2 - Strategic Partnerships for Higher Education. The Cosy Thinking project was written by the project applicant Sodertorns Hogskola, based in Huddinge (Sweden), and the scientific coordinator, University of Perugia, based in Perugia (Italy) in cooperation with Pixel, also supporting the coordination of the planning process. The Cosy Thinking project aims at providing undergraduate students with competences on complex systems thinking and academic lecturers and managerial staff with knowledge, skills and tools for adapting their educational activities with a specific focus on sustainable development by integrating complex systemic thinking. During the meeting, European project partners analyzed the course proposals to be included in the curriculum, defined the course composition for the different semester and the number of ECTS credits for each course.
