European Project for Patients with Chronic Respiratory Conditions

The First Transnational Meeting

Pixel organized the kickoff meeting of the European project entitled BREATH – A European Collaborative and Innovative Partnership to Promote Physical Activity for Patients with Chronic Respiratory Conditions which took place online – using the Zoom web platform – on 9 December 2022. The European project entitled BREATH was funded by the European Commission in the framework of the Erasmus+ Programme, Cooperation partnerships in higher education. The BREATH project was written and coordinated by the project applicant and scientific coordinator University of Opole (Poland) in cooperation with Pixel, also supporting the coordination of the planning process. The BREATH project aims at promoting physical activity and long-term rehabilitation to patients with Chronic Respiratory Conditions by upskilling university physiotherapy, physical activity, sports, nursing students (who need to acquire the professional competencies required by today’s patients with chronic respiratory conditions) and physiotherapy, physical activity, sports, nursing professionals. During the first meeting, the European project partners introduced themselves as well as their project’s related experiences and expertise. The main activities to be carried out were presented and discussed, as well as the templates to be used.
