European Project promoting Artificial Intelligence in Math

Second Meeting

Pixel organized and coordinated the second meeting of the European project entitled iMath: An Intelligent System to Learn Mathematics, which took place on 21 – 22 July 2022 at University of Peloponnese based in Patras (Greece). The European project entitled iMath was funded by the European Commission in the framework of the Erasmus+ Programme, KA2 - Cooperation Partnerships in Higher Education. The iMath project was written and coordinated by the project applicant and scientific coordinator Instituto Politécnico de Bragança, based in Bragança (Portugal) in cooperation with Pixel, also supporting the coordination of the planning process. The iMath project aims at applying an AI-driven tool to support higher education students in improving their performances in mathematics subjects. During the second meeting, the European project partners analyzed how to optimize the Learning Database and discussed about the students' learning indicators. In addition, the European project partners carried out a brainstorming about the functionalities of the OptLearn Algorithm.
