European Project dealing with Obesity and Eating Disorders

Second Transnational Meeting

Pixel organized and coordinated the second transnational meeting of the European project entitled Connected 4 Health which took place on 4 – 5 July 2022 at Instituto Politécnico de Bragança based in Bragança. The European project entitled Connected 4 Health was funded by the European Commission in the framework of the Erasmus+ Programme, KA2 - Cooperation Partnerships in Higher Education. The C4H project was written and coordinated by the project applicant and scientific coordinator University of Targu Mures, based in Targu Mures (Romania) in cooperation with Pixel, also supporting the coordination of the planning process. The Connected4Health project proposes a connected interdisciplinary action expects to achieve an in-depth understanding of obesity, EDs, their stigma and harm from grassroots levels (historical, social, personal perspective), deconstructing current narratives in the public discourses and creating a new narrative that will contribute to the reduction of body-shape stigma and bias. During the second meeting, the European project partners presented the draft version of the modules of the Handbook, also discussing about its cover page and graphic style. In addition, the European project partners analyzed the abstract of the syllabus of the modules to be produced.
