International Mobility Initiative

A group of Greek teachers visited Pixel

In the framework of the international mobility initiative named after “Intervention Measures to reduce Early School Leaving” funded by the Erasmus+ Programme, 10 Greek teachers spent a week in Florence, at Pixel, between 9 and 13 May 2022. The objective of the Mobility Initiative was to give participants the opportunity to: acquire a better understanding of the Italian and Tuscan Education and Training system; acquire knowledge about the current policies and strategies for reducing the early school leaving’ phenomenon; acquire information about how the Italian Education and Training systems are organized and managed in Italy and in Tuscany in particular; acquire information of the existing methods and experiences for the organisation and management of education and training initiatives; share best practices in managing the early school leaving phenomenon; develop new contacts and explore opportunities of cooperation with public and private institutions operating in the Educational and Training system in Tuscany. During the mobility initiative, a training course was organized by Pixel as well as meetings between the Greek group and school directors, teachers, managers of training institutions and public key policy makers operating in the education system.
