European Project exploring New Approaches in Educational Tourism

The Third Transnational Meeting

Pixel organized and coordinated the third meeting of the European project entitled VRSciT – VR Science Tour, which took place on 7 – 8 March 2022 at Kaunas Technological University based in Kaunas (Lithuania). The European project entitled VRSciT was funded by the European Commission in the framework of the Erasmus+ Programme, KA2 – Strategic Partnerships for Adult Education. The VRSciT project was written and coordinated by Pixel in cooperation with the project applicant and scientific coordinator Associação Centro Ciência Viva de Bragança based in Bragança (Portugal). The VRSciT European project aims at exploring new approaches in educational tourism, such as 3D modeling together with 360º immersive VR environments, to build innovative virtual educational scenes. During the third meeting, the European project partners presented the main results reached so far, with a specific focus on the 3D objects and the recorded and edited video footage. In addition, the European project partners discussed about the forthcoming activities to be carried out.
