European Project supporting Bilingual Education

Transnational Meeting

Pixel organized and coordinated a transnational meeting of the European project entitled BiMo – Bilingualism in monolingual contexts, which took place online – using the Zoom web platform – on 14 February 2022. The European project entitled BiMo was funded by the European Commission in the framework of the Erasmus+ Programme, KA2 - Strategic Partnerships for School Education. The BiMo project was written and coordinated by Pixel in cooperation with the project applicant and scientific coordinator Universidad Nacional de Educacion a Distancia, based in Madrid (Spain). The BIMO European project aims at deepening the views, impressions and needs of the parents in monolingual societies with implemented bilingual education programmes, and at establishing synergies from societies with greater experience in everyday bilingualism and bilingual education programmes in a foreign language. During this meeting, the European project partners presented the current situation related to the Intellectual Output 1 – MOOCs on Bilingualism – and defined the deadlines to complete it. In addition, the European project partners presented and approved the templates for producing the second project intellectual output, the publication related to the Policy Recommendation.
