European Project promoting Artificial Intelligence in Math

Kickoff Meeting

Pixel organized and coordinated the kickoff meeting of the European project entitled iMath: An Intelligent System to Learn Mathematics, which took place online – using the Zoom web platform – on 27 and 28 January 2022.  The European project entitled iMath was funded by the European Commission in the framework of the Erasmus+ Programme, KA2 - Cooperation Partnerships in Higher Education. The iMath project was written and coordinated by the project applicant and scientific coordinator Instituto Politécnico de Bragança, based in Bragança (Portugal) in cooperation with Pixel, also supporting the coordination of the planning process. The iMath project aims at applying an AI-driven tool to support higher education students in improving their performances in mathematics subjects. During the kickoff meeting, the European project partners introduced themselves as well as their project’s related experiences and expertise. The project objectives and the main activities to be carried out were presented and discussed. In addition the templates and the calendar of activities for the first project result was presented and approved.
