European Project on Gender Issues in Migration Flows

Transnational Meeting

Pixel organized and coordinated a transnational meeting of the European project entitled VIW – Voices of Immigrant Women, which took place online – using the Zoom web platform – on 20 and 21 January 2022. The European project entitled VIW was funded by the European Commission in the framework of the Erasmus+ Programme, KA2 - Strategic Partnerships for Higher Education. The VIW project was written and coordinated by Pixel in cooperation with the project applicant Universidad Pablo de Olavide, based in Seville (Spain), and the scientific coordinator University of Florence, based in Florence (Italy). VIW project’ aim is to make HEIs more inclusive by promoting a holistic comprehension of the gender issues in migration flows. During the transnational meeting, the European project partners presented the current situation related to the first Intellectual Output, the Map of Case Studies. Furthermore, the European project partners planned the next activities to be carried out for the production of the second Intellectual Output, the E-Learning Package.
