European Project improving Language Teachers’ Digital Competences

Multiplier Event

On 12 November 2021 Pixel organized and coordinated the Multiplier Event entitled after “Digital Skills, Assessment, and Training for Language Teachers”, hosted by the “Innovation in Language Learning” International Conference. The Multiplier Event was organized in the framework of the DC4LT European project, funded by the European Commission in the framework of the Erasmus+ Programme, KA2 - Strategic Partnership in the field of Higher Education. The European project was written and coordinated by Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) and aims at empowering EU Language Teachers with Digital Competences, strengthening them with open and innovative tools and methodologies, providing them with clear guidance on deploying and using ICT, and changing their practices to be more sustainable. The Multiplier Event was composed by the following speeches:

  • “DC4LT European project: aims and results” by Antonio Giordano (Pixel, Italy)
  • “DC4LT Digital Competence Assessment Framework for Language Teachers and Training Model” by Maria Perifanou (University of Macedonia, Greece), Maria Victoria Soule and Elis Kakoulli-Constantinou (Cyprus University of Technology, Cyprus)
  • “Teaching online in VR during the pandemic (including a demo)” by Ekaterina Prasolova-Førland (Norwegian University of Science and Technology, Norway).
