The Second Transnational Meeting

Pixel organized and coordinated the second meeting of the European project entitled BiMo – Bilingualism in monolingual contexts, which was held on 22 November 2021 at Pixel site in Florence. The European project entitled BiMo was funded by the European Commission in the framework of the Erasmus+ Programme, KA2 - Strategic Partnerships for School Education. The BiMo project was written and coordinated by Pixel in cooperation with the project applicant and scientific coordinator Universidad Nacional de Educacion a Distancia, based in Madrid (Spain). The BIMO European project aims at deepening the views, impressions and needs of the parents in monolingual societies with implemented bilingual education programmes, and at establishing synergies from societies with greater experience in everyday bilingualism and bilingual education programmes in a foreign language. During the second meeting, the European project partners presented the current situation related to the production of the MOOC for promoting bilingualism at school. In addition, the European project partners defined the content organization of the course to be produced.
