European Project improving language teachers’ digital competences

Digital competence assessment survey for language teaching during the pandemic

DC4LT - Digital Competences for Language Teachers is a European project funded by the European Commission in the framework of the Erasmus+ Programme, KA2 - Strategic Partnership in the field of Higher Education. Pixel is contractual partner of the DC4LT project, which aims at empowering EU Language Teachers with Digital Competences to facilitate online mobile teaching to a worldwide audience. In 2019 (pre-pandemic), the DC4LT consortium launched the Digital Competence Assessment survey for language teachers, administration staff, policymakers, and other stakeholders. The results of this Survey are now published in the report Digital Competences in Language Education: Teachers’ Perspectives, Employers’ Expectations, and Policy Reflections. The DC4LT consortium is now launching the Survey for the second time in order to analyze how the situation has changed due to the pandemic challenges. The results of the Survey will be used to produce guidelines and tools to help teachers efficiently use available technologies in their blended and online language teaching. The DC4LT consortium is asking for your support: take the survey, available here: https://www.dc4lt.eu/pandemic-survey/
