European Project exploring New Approaches in Educational Tourism

The Second Transnational Meeting

Pixel organized and coordinated the second meeting of the European project entitled VRSciT – VR Science Tour, which was held on 6 – 7 September 2021 at Instituto Politecnico de Bragança based in Bragança (Portugal). The European project entitled VRSciT was funded by the European Commission in the framework of the Erasmus+ Programme, KA2 – Strategic Partnerships for Adult Education. The VRSciT project was written and coordinated by Pixel in cooperation with the project applicant and scientific coordinator Associação Centro Ciência Viva de Bragança based in Bragança (Portugal). The VRSciT European project aims at exploring new approaches in educational tourism, such as 3D modeling together with 360º immersive VR environments, to build innovative virtual educational scenes. During the meeting, the European project partners presented the results of both the literature review and the 3D objects review. In addition, European project partners planned the activities for the development of the 360 video footage and related immersive experience.
