European Project Supporting Refugees Integration in HEIs

The Third Transnational Meeting

Pixel organized and coordinated the third meeting of the European project entitled Together – Innovative European Learning Path to Facilitate the Access of Refugees to HE, which took place online – using the Zoom web platform – on 4 and 5 February 2021. The European project entitled Together was funded by the European Commission in the framework of the Erasmus+ Programme, KA2 – Strategic Partnerships for Higher Education. The Together project has been written and coordinated by Pixel in cooperation with the project applicant and scientific coordinator IUS Gentium Conimbrigae based in Coimbra (Portugal). The aim of the Together project is to develop social responsibility of Higher Education students providing them with intercultural and civic competences, raising their awareness on integration of refugees issues and having them working together with refugees and stakeholders of the third sector (NGOs) in order to play their potential key role in making University more inclusive. During the third meeting, the European project partners finalized the first intellectual output, the Refugees Welcome Map, and discussed about the state of art of the second intellectual output, the Training Package for students. In addition, the European project partners presented the objectives and the structure of the third intellectual output, the Guidelines for Academics.
