European Project on Language Teachers Digital Competences

Webinar

On 13 November 2020 Pixel organized and coordinated the webinar entitled after “Digital Skills, Assessment, and Training for Language Teachers”, hosted by the “Innovation in Language Learning” International Conference. The webinar was organized in the framework of the DC4LT European project, funded by the European Commission in the framework of the Erasmus+ Programme, KA2 - Strategic Partnership in the field of Higher Education. The European project was written and coordinated by Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) and aims at empowering EU Language Teachers with Digital Competences, strengthening them with open and innovative tools and methodologies, providing them with clear guidance on deploying and using ICT, and changing their practices to be more sustainable. The webinar was composed by the following speeches:

  • "Digital Competences for Language Teachers Survey" by Antonio Giordano (Pixel, Italy), Mikhail Fominykh (Norwegian University of Science and Technology, Norway) and Daria Zhukova (ITMO University Russia)
  • "Digital Competence Assessment Framework and Tool for Language Teachers" by Maria Perifanou (University of Macedonia, Greece)
  • "Organizing Online Training of Digital Competences for Language Teachers" by Maria Victoria Soule and Anna Nicolaou (Cyprus University of Technology, Cyprus)
