State of the Art

The first phase of the 2IMINED project is based on theoretical and practical preparation. In this phase, all partners are involved in the production of national State of the Art reports, collecting educational traditions and national best practices of immigrants' education (especially focusing on the education of the first year immigrants). This study will be based on a theoretical part (analysis of scientific and legal documents, other projects’ results and products) and a practical part (opinion of immigrants and immigrants' educators in participating countries thanks to a survey with 200 immigrants in each participating country and 15 interviews with immigrants’ educators working in different institutions). The aim of these two methods is to investigate what are the specific needs of both immigrants’ educators and immigrants.
