8 new European projects approved for Pixel

2019 Calls for Proposals

8 new European projects, in which Pixel is involved either as coordinator or as partner, have been recently approved by the European Commission in the framework of the Erasmus+ Programme.

The approved projects are the following.

The European project entitled CLIL4S – CLIL for STEAM was written and coordinated by Pixel in cooperation with the project applicant and scientific coordinator Szkola Podstawowa nr 5 im. Janusza Kusocinskiego w Swidniku based in Świdnik (Poland). The project was funded by the Erasmus+ Programme, KA2 - Strategic Partnerships for School Education. The aim of the CLIL4S project is to address students under achievement in English as L2 and in STEM subjects through the promotion of an effective strategy for teaching STEM, combining them with the CLIL approach to in parallel raise the awareness among teachers and students of the relevance of teaching and learning foreign languages successfully.

The European project entitled Tiramisu – First Aid Improve Survival was written and coordinated by Pixel in cooperation with the project applicant CIPAT, based in Florence, and the scientific coordinator University of Genova. The project was funded by the Erasmus+ Programme, KA2 - Strategic Partnerships for School Education. The aim of the Tiramisu project is to promote the first-aid training within schools through teacher training activities and to develop an innovative transnational training course on first aid, health and safety practices based on the simulation approach.

The European project entitled Anthropocene – Homo Data in the Anthropocene Era was written and coordinated by Pixel in cooperation with the project applicant and scientific coordinator RENASUP based in Paris (France). The project was funded by the Erasmus+ Programme, KA2 - Strategic Partnerships for School Education. The aim of the Anthropocene is to help prepare young people to the new environment (economic and digital acceleration) allowing them to study how political, societal and educational spheres address these challenges and to raise awareness in the educational sector.

The European project entitled Together – Innovative European Learning Path to Facilitate the Access of Refugees to HE was written and coordinated by Pixel in cooperation with the project applicant and scientific coordinator IUS Gentium Conimbrigae based in Coimbra (Portugal). The project was funded by the Erasmus+ Programme, KA2 - Strategic Partnerships for Higher Education. The aim of the Together project is to develop social responsibility of Higher Education students providing them with intercultural and civic competences, raising their awareness on integration of refugees issues and having them working together with refugees and stakeholders of the third sector (NGOs) in order to play their potential key role in making University more inclusive.

The European project entitled SoftMob – Software for Mobilities was written and coordinated by Pixel in cooperation with the project applicant and scientific coordinator Valencian Federation of Construction Companies based in Valencia (Spain). The project was funded by the Erasmus+ Programme, KA2 - Strategic Partnerships for Vocational Education and Training. The aim of the SoftMob project is to answer to the needs of all the actors playing a part in mobility project and experiences, by providing them with a complete software, helping them to reduce the administrative and management burden of the different activities in order to better concentrate on the contents quality, and a set of direct testimonials of the different protagonists to be used as reference best practice to improve the effectiveness of the management of mobility initiatives.

The European project entitled GrEnFin – Greening Energy Market and Finance was written and coordinated by University of Bologna based in Bologna (Italy) and involves Pixel in the transnational partnership. The project was funded by the Erasmus+ Programme, KA2 - Knowledge Alliances. The GrEnFin project aims at providing the Energy Sector’s stakeholders (energy providers, private companies, research institutes,…) with European high skilled professionals ((future graduates but also personnel and professionals already active in the labour market) capable to face the changing challenges in the field, namely guaranteeing stable and sustainable access to energy.

The European project entitled RTV – Key Competences in Media Production for Radio, Film and Television was written and coordinated by Radio Romania based in Bucharest (Italy) and involves Pixel in the transnational partnership. The project was funded by the Erasmus+ Programme, KA2 - Strategic Partnerships for vocational education and training. The aim of the RTV project is to develop key skills - digital competences in the use of new information and communication technologies; to imply the critical and reliable use of electronic media for work, leisure and communication in media institutions; to prepare the new job profiles for the media labor market; to provide the conditions for teachers/trainers’ training and for the initial training of students in the field of media production.

The European project entitled INCrEAsE – Intercultural Competences for Adult Educators working with Multicultural and Multilingual Learners was written and coordinated by Gr.T. Popa University of Medicine and Pharmacy of Iasi (Romania) and involves Pixel in the transnational partnership. The project was funded by the Erasmus+ Programme, KA2 - Strategic Partnerships for Adult Education. The project aims at strengthening the intercultural communication skills of adult educators working in various formal and& non-formal educational settings, in order to help them to overcome the challenges arising from their everyday work with multicultural and multilingual learners’ populations.
