European Project enhancing Skills in STEM Subjects through Arts

The First Transnational Meeting

Pixel participated in the kickoff meeting of the European project entitled G.A. STEM - Enhancing STEM skills through arts and mini-games, which was held on 19 – 20 December 2018 at Turku (Finland). The European project entitled G.A. STEM was funded by the European Commission in the framework of the Erasmus+ Programme, KA2 - Strategic Partnership in the field of School Education. The European project was written and coordinated by University of Turku based in Turku (Finland) and involves Pixel in the transnational partnership. The G.A. STEM aims at improving motivation in scientific study through the use of “Art-works” as supporter in student creativity development and more awareness of their applications in everyday life. During the first meeting, the European project partners introduced themselves as well as their project’s related experiences and expertise. The main activities to be carried out were presented and discussed. The main intellectual outputs to be produced were examined and the templates for the production of the expected deliverables were analyzed and jointly discussed.
