European Project on Quality in Language Learning

The NELLIP Project

The European project entitled NELLIP Network  is funded by the European Commission in the framework of the Lifelong Learning Programme - KA2 Languages. The European project NELLIP Network, promoted and coordinated by Pixel, has the aim to promote quality in language learning through the application of the quality criteria used to award the European Language Label.

The European project NELLIP Network selected relevant language learning initiatives having received the European Language Label that are consistent with the current political priorities of the European Commission in the field of language learning. Among them, a number of case studies and Best Practice are identified. National Reports as well as a Transnational Report were also produced in order to raise the quality of language learning initiatives that are being developed in Europe.

The European project NELLIP Network also developed Guidelines on quality, exploitation and networking in the field of language learning with reference to the European Language Label.

National workshops on the impact of the European Language Label on quality in language learning were organized in the framework of the European project NELLIP Network. Each national workshop included a transnational virtual meeting with the workshop participant in another parter country.
